Revolution

Incubation

French: Prior to revolution, national assembly was lower house of the bicameral French Parliament, the king was forced to Paris, and the Civil Constitution of Clergy law was passed.

Haitian: After the French revolution broke out in Paris, Vincent Oge lead rebellion among free african americans and slaves rose up on northern plantations

Mexican: Middle and upper-class creoles planned a revolt, sympathized with needs of indigenous and mestizo.

Symptomatic

French- France had an absolute monarchy with a weak monarch which lead to the population dividing into 3 states. France was also having financial difficulties.

Haitian- In Haiti there was high demands to end discrimination and there was a lot of controversy surrounding the French National Assembly.

Symptomatic

Mexican- In Mexico the working classes became frustrated with elite as they were controlling prices of their goods as well as forced tributes the working classes did not want to pay

Crisis

French: In 1792 war was declared, the royal palace stormed and the Battle of Valmy took place. a year later Louis XVI was beheaded by guillotine and the period of terror began.

Haitian: Dutty Boukman lead thousands of Maroons in slave revolt to attack plantations, Toussaint became a military leader, and assembly revoked rights for men of color with two free parents.

Mexican: Father Miguel Hidalgo's revolution took place where he declared New Spain free from the Spanish Crown, by September 28 the key city Guanajuato was taken, and his Peasant Army.

Convalescence

French- The revolution came to an end when a general named Napoleon overthrew the revolutionary government and established the French Consulate

Convalescence

Haitian- After the last battle Haiti wins freedom from France and becomes the first independent country to be run by slaves.

Mexican- The treaty of Cordoba was signed after the opposing forces combined , and the Mexican Empire became independent.
