The tavern's owner soon finds out this mysterious knight is none other than Princess Elizabeth of the kingdom of Liones. When Elizabeth wakes up, she is face to face with the owner, whom she later discovers is Sir Meliodas, the Dragon Sin of Wrath. Meliodas goes on to explain that the other Sins are still alive, just in hiding in various places across Britannia.

In the series, "Seven Deadly Sins", Kodansha uses semi-accurate historical data like timeframe, location, and genre to teach powerful and moving lessons such as controlling emotions and dealing with loss. As Meliodas goes through the trial to control his feelings, you witness the hardships he has to go through and how he deals with them. This shows why it's important to learn these lessons with a drastic amount of destruction, but then he realizes how many people he'll hurt if he keeps up this behavior. This moral can apply to real life because so many people struggle with dealing with their emotions and sometimes, we just need that little extra push to keep us going.
