What is an american dream?

The American Dream is written into the Declaration of Independence: "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

It's like getting an opportunity to come from nothing and get everything.

The dream

The American dream was introduced at the start of the book through Georges description to lennie to own a farm and living of the "fatta land"this symbolizes the dream.

During ng the depression,the american dream is like a trap.Lots of workers were unemployed.In of mice nad men people dream of getting happiness,life and happiness but they don't get it.But when crooks hear about lennie's and George's dream he said "Nobody ever gets to heaven, and nobody gets no land."

Their dream is very important because it represents freedom and having control over their own lives, which they do not have while moving around looking for work.Dreams in of mice and emn suggest that it is possible for anyone to achieve success and improve their lives through hard work.Eventhough George and lennies dream might not come true but it suggests that in order for life to be full and meaningful, it must contain dreams.

Even though their dream might not come true but this holds their remarkable friendship.But for the men in the ranch hope that if they work hard they will be rewarded back.for George and Lennie their dream is real because it's real in their imagination.The dream makes Lennie happy and stops George From being mean to Lennie.he dream gives them life, even if life,happiness and hope never allows them to achieve their dreams.
