Arnold Melnikoff

  • Worked as a forensics scientiest for the case and

  • Gave the statistic of "There was less than a one in ten thousand (1/10,000) chance that the hairs did not belong to Bromgard"

These accustations of statistics were false and "pulled out of thin air"

  • Was sent on the stand for the Bromgard vs state case to testify with his false "evidence"

Tim Fox:

Tim

Fox

  • Has talked to the victim personally about what had happened that night the crime was commited

  • When the verdict was released about whether or not Tipton would get justice for what he's done had been revealed as dismissed he was too angered

Ronald Tipton:

Ronald Tipton

  • Was originally one of the suspects, right along with Mr. Bromgard.

  • At the scene of the crime, it was said the DNA of the site was giving the investigators a direction towards Mr. Bromgard rather than Mr. Tipton.

  • On the trial of 'State vs. Bromgard' new DNA evidence was shown that had contained DNA matching Tipton.

Impact:

Bromgard after released and had won the trial, had made the decision to become a stay at home dad to be there for his kids. And he doesn't dwell on the past.

After the verdict of the Innocence Project and the Victim of the justice system Jimmy Ray Bromgard, the trial named "State vs. Bromgard" was born. This trial put not only the Forensic scientist that brought false information to evidence, but had opened watcher's eyes of just how wrong the justice system can be. It had failed Jimmy Ray Bromgard.
