The conjugation of the verbs ending in '-er' and '-ir'
Week 3 Lesson 6
Students will be able to identify and use the conjugations of regular '-er' and '-ir' verbs in Spanish.

To conjugate the verbs ending in '-er' and '-ir' we need to follow the same process as we have done to conjugate the verbs ending in '-ar'. Here is the process for the verbs 'COMER' and 'VIVIR':

There are only two different forms between both conjugations! The rest is the same!!!

To recap:
1. Spanish infinitives end in: '-ar', '-er' and '-ir'. (In English we have 'to speak' as infinitive)
2. There are three different conjugations with their own endings.
3. To conjugate a verb you need to remove the '-ar', '-er' and '-ir' and add the set of endings to the verb stem.
4. The verbs must match the subject of the sentence:
