Brief history

Gunpowder revolutionized warfare by providing a more efficient and powerful for combat. This is because since the bullet goes very fast it is more efficient if you hit someone in a fragile part they will most likely die and all of this with out gun powder could not. This allowed the creation of guns (muskets, rifles machine guns) happen and revoluzinize warfare. So this is why it revolutionized warfare. Gunpowder enabled armies to break through fortified defenses such as castle walls, making sieges more effective and quicker. this was helpfull because they could do seiges quicker and better and when they thought they were safe with those fortification walls thanks to gun powder it is not as safe so if could be a positive and a negative for the people that are lets say in the cities. Also t helped concer cities and tribes also a negative and positive impact it depends on the perspective for example now they could create boms that were good but had a lot of negative impacts but it has been growing and still using gun powder. This is another problem that gun powder solved.

writing was good for history because it helped civilitations to improve by making record keeping one of the top five criteria in a civilitation. Also it helped to communicate easier because since you could write it and you did not need to say it to him directly you could have all the time in the world and express yourself way better. In addition it was easier to communicate because you have mailman meaning that you can communicate with a lot more people. Because brfore you needed to meet up to talk and that meant that it was harder to communicate and to meet up meaning that it was harder to communicate.

Writing was invented between 3400 BCE and 3300 BCE in Mesopotamia , then it was developed by the Shang dynasty. The Shang dynasty used shells bones that they callled oracle bones. The words were carved with a stylus, some were written with brush and ink made of lampblack or cinnabar.

Because they could send letters so the mail man then sends it to the person you want to read that is because it was easier to communicate across distance and time.

Their original goal was to create an immortal pill using sulfur, charcoal, and saltpeter.

The accidental outcome of their experiment was the creation of gunpowder. With the gunpowder back then what they used it for was used inmediatly for warfare. A negative thing of gun powder is that if you put it in water it does not work anymore.

Why is gunpowder more impactfull than writing.

A negative impact of gunpowder is that as I said in how did gun powder worked in U.S.A. they are way more massacres than in for example spain so what that means is that the limitation of guns in spain is way more restricted than in U.S.A. Also in superior military countries like Russia, Unites States, China with a click of a button because of all there military superiority with a command or a click of a button they can destroy countries or even continents for example Russia and ukraine that could be a minor example of what I am talking about. In addition you cant walk safely because of the war That is happening right now. Also since Russia chana and United States have so much better more and advanced utilities. They are superior in a way military way because of all there advanced utilities. A positive immpact is that it is very usefull for cleaning fire places, witch can also keep insects out.

I think that gunpowder was more impactful than writing. One of the reason's is that it revolutionized modern warfare because from trying to kill people with a knife at close range they started killing people at long range, and also you could kill someone in one shot. Another impact is that countries like Russia, United States,or China with all there military force they can easily dominate countries or maybe even continents. Just because of all the gunpowder that has created all these type of firearms or bombs, and this is because, and since they have all these utilities that not everyone has and can make with gunpowder that is in a military way thanks because of gunpowder. Another reasoning is that since we always evolve and if gunpowder was bad then why do we use it still. Because it is the best innovation from ancient China. Also writing contains ink wich can consume resources that can very much pollute the enviroment. If you think that they use a little bit of ink for writing you are wrong. Imagine all the pens they needed to make so that everybody can write, and imagine that every person needed to write and they use more than one pen. This is why Gunpowder is the best ancient Chinese innovation for modern day.

It works by releasing gases, pressure that forces a bullet to come out of the gun. This could be a negative impact because it it was really easy to kill people. It was easy to kill people because with one shot with a gun you could kill someone. For example in a mass shooting a lot of people die, also if you do a mass stabing I dont think you would kill as much people as a mass shooting. In addition if you compare the mass shootings in U.S.A. are way more than in Spain for example they are way less shooting because of the gun limitation. for example in 2023 there has been about 630 mass shootings for the last three years theres been more than 600 mass shooting. Whereas in Spain the las massacre was in 2003 witch was not really a massacre they bombed Atocha.
