"On June 23, 2000 a ship called the MV Treasure sunk of the coast of Cape Town south Africa" it hit a reef and spilled 1,300 tons of toxic oil into the sea oiling 20,000 penguins.

"12-and-a-half thousand voulenteers came from all around Cape Town to help the oiled penguins." "African penguins have razor sharp beaks and claws". "The voulenteers had woundes head to toe".
The voulenteers put alot of effort into saving these penguins. The voulenteers had wounds from head to toe but they dident care they cared about saving the penguins. "12-and-a-half thousand voulenteers came from all around Cape Town to save the oiled penguins". "Up to 1,000 people a day came to the rescue center to help the oiled penguins." They tranformed a wearhouse into a penguin rescue center. They had to hand feed the penguins. The penguins would refuse hand fed food the voulerteers had to shove the fish down the birds throut.
Imagine you are an innocent penguin swiming propeling yourself through the water. Catching fish in your beak. You are playing with your firends, everything is normal. You come up to the surface to get a breath of air then the water feels unfamilar it is thick, the water burns your eyes you wobble and roll nothing works. You somehow manage to get back to shore but all you can do is stand there cold frightened and hurt
