  • Students/ youth who use drug are more

  • These are all very imports parts of the brain as they work together to send around lots of different brain chemicals

  • When there is a use of drugs it impacts the function of all of these parts as they make the brain chemicals imbalanced

  • A study carried out by the National Center for Biotechnology Information and the U.S. National Library of Medicine showed that the increase in drug use can overpower the prefrontal cortex, leading to the loss of ability to stop overusing the drug
