Brain surgery refers to any procedures that have to do with the brain. It is an operation to treat the problems in your brain. It is also called Neurosurgery.
William Williams Keen Jr. He was also the first brain surgeon.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 19, 1837. He studies at Brown University in Providence, RI. In 1867 he married Emma Corinna Broden and had four children. Their names were Corinne, Florence, Dora, and Margret. Then on June 7, 1932 at the age of 95 he died.
They check and see if you are fit for the surgery
Then they check your blood for your hormone levels.
Next they would do an electrical reading of your brain activity (an electroencephalogram or EEG)
Then they scan your brain for the blood vessels
Then a neurological examination.
Before surgery they would make sure part of your scalp is shaved and cleaned. Then a surgeon will make a cut through the scalp over the location of where the problem of your brain is located. Then they do whatever they need to do to get the problem fix and you would get stitches to get the scalp back together.
