Nike was created from Bill Bowerman's idea to make lighter, and more durable shoes made for racing. Phil Knight's inspiration for Nike was due to his love for sports and finding a way of living from his love for sports.

Air Jordan's
In 1984, popular basketball player Michael Jordan, signed a 2.5 million dollar deal with Nike. This resulted in the shoe, Air Jordan's. The shoe was released on April 1985 with a goal to make 3 million in 3 years, but they made 126 million in one. Nowadays, the Air Jordan brand has expanded to everything from clothing to water bottles.
Christiano Ronaldo
Mercurial Dream Speed
Nike's mercurial dream speed was designed by and sponsered by famous football/soccer player, Christiano Ronaldo. Now, these shoes are worn by, Kylian Mbappe, Sam Kerr, and much more. Christiano Ronaldo makes 24+ million dollars every year just from his Nike contract.
Goal
Nike's goal is, "To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world" and that "*If you have a body, you are an athlete." showing that everyone can be an athlete if enough effort is put in.
