Accountability: Is the action of taking responsibility for every single action you've done. This is crucial for Politicians as this shows they care about you and their ward.

How to become accountable (if your an MLA)

Listening To Constituents

They listen to constituents to find out what they need they can contact the Constituents by letter or e-mail. They are accounted to give information to the constituents.

They present their concerns to the constituency, being accountable is to be responsible.

They keep them informed through newspaper on what they have been doing. They use this so that they know what they they did something wrong. They do this to know what they are doing.

Elected representatives hold government leaders like mayors, reeves, premiers, and Cabinet ministers. They accountable for keeping promises that were made during the election campaign. These leaders must be able to explain their actions and show that these actions interests the people. Representatives also try to make sure that the tax money that the govenment collects is being spent wisely.

Elected representatives need to hear people's opinions. If they don't they might not be re-elected and show their . Elected representatives will be send letters or e-mails to let them know what to do. Representatives know if one letter is sent that usually means other people could be on the same boat as the person sending the letter.
