Roy Mackal was a biochemist at the University of Chicago but in 1980 he went to the Congo region to interview the native residents about the possibilty of a dinosaur in the jungle. Although he never found any physical evidence he still punlished a book called "A Living Dinosaur? In Search Of Mokele-Mbembe" in 1987.
