DESCRIPTION OF THE AVID CLASS
For one class period each day, AVID students will receive additional academic, social, emotional, and physical support that will help them succeed in their school’s most rigorous courses and programs.
AVID also provides the school a record of support to regional teams, data tracking, planning guides, and self-assessments, to help schools measure their success and refine their approach.

AVID has helped me in many ways. Avid has helped me understand how to manage my time wisely and how to understand what colleges want to see. This program has helped me to be more understanding of other people's thoughts and opinion, instead of my own opinion. Avid has helped me understand what type of student I really am.

I strongly encourage you to take AVID this year. AVID helps you gain skills and the knowledge you will need in College and in your future. AVID teaches you a lot of things that most classes and course don't teach you. AVID gives you as a student an opportunity to plan for you future.

THE IMPACTS AVID HAS ON ME IN MY ACADEMICS AND IN MY PERSONAL LIFE
AVID has impacted me in a lot of ways. AVID has impacted me in my academics, by teaching me how to manage my time wisely and how to write my notes in a way that I will understand that the topic is talking about. AVID has helped me reconnect with old friends and has introduced me to new friends. AVID has helped me in my personal life by introducing me to a No-Social Media assignment for a weekend and it has helped me understand what I want to do with my life and my career, in the future.
