  • Joseph was Jacob's favorite son. Jacob gave Joseph a special robe.
  • Joseph's two dreams made his brothers hate him even more.
  • All of Joseph's brothers wanted to kill Joseph
  • Yet insisted to put Joseph in a pit
  • Other brothers attacked Joseph and took his robe. Threw him into a pit. Then sold him to a merchant
  • Brothers lied to their father saying Joseph was dead
