His life
Sheikh Zayed was born in 1918. At this time Abu Dhabi was very poor.

In 1966, he became the ruler of Abu Dhabi and it was his job to improve Abu Dhabi.
In 1971, he became the president of the UAE. He is often called the father of the nation.
