Hustle Eats Mission Statement

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide positive direction to our young candidates, and encourage optimistic attitudes and approaches to gaining employment.

We help them to gain an understanding of the fundamentals to begin building a successful career.

Love what you do, we do.

Philosophy and Vision

Being aware of the challenges many of our young adults are facing in gaining paid work experience, Hustle Eats was founded to tackle this problem.

We have experienced first hand the hardship of striving to build a career without support and we believe that it does not matter what background you are from, everyone deserves a fair chance, the right to support and the right to reach their full potential.

At Hustle Eats, we provide young people with an opportunity to earn the London Living wage and learn the fundamentals of hard work, customer services, selling their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses in a vibrant environment, allowing them to increase their confidence and job opportunities.

Why we do this.

Why we do this

After a night out with my business partner, way back in our younger days, we ended up in police custody! The fear of having a criminal record; not being able to get a job, along with the unpleasant reaction from my mother told me I needed help!

The memory of that night has stayed with me throughout my working career, leading us to the purpose we have today, and that is to help young people who may or may not be at the cusp of a similar situations to us.

We are driven to create experiences for these young people, in which they can gain knowledge, wisdom and understanding and a real sense of purpose, which will hopefully keep them out of trouble!

What we do.

We provide opportunities to the younger generation who have natural ability, and talent to build a career but are lacking work experience.

Some businesses only hire those with experience and unfortunately this is not always easy to get. Everyone must start somewhere.

What we do

How we do it.

How we do it

We offer support, guidance, and advice to young people through paid work experience opportunities and workshops.

Working with schools, colleges and other youth organisations, we take our candidates to festivals and private events across the country, where they help sell Caribbean Street food from our Hustle Eats food hut, giving them hands on experience.

The work allows them to develop skills that can be transferred to multiple industries, such as, Sales, Event Management, Customer Service, Hospitality, and Health and Safety.

We also help to build confidence, positive mental health, and well-being; and provide a sense of belonging through our workshops.
