If I had to rate this book on a scale 1-10 with 10 being the best I would give this book 10/10 because I thought this book was a really good book. The reason I gave this book a 10/10 was because I leared a lot about Bailey and his family, I could also realate a lot to it. I also thought baileys story was way better than the Bailey's story in the movie A Dogs Purpose.

Beggining
In the begging of the story Ethan's mom find's a dog in a hot truck at a gas station.She brings him home and Ethan meets him and they keep him. All the kids in the neighborhood meet bailey and bailey meets a girl chelsea and she brings her dog Marshmellow out and bailey and Marshmellow play all day. Bailey also meets Todds who is usaly up to no good and always does firecrackers when he hides by the marsh.
Middle
In the middle of the story Bailey for the first time gets to go to Ethan's grandparents farm house. Bailey explores around so much that he gets sprayed by a skunk twice. Once they get home Ethan has to go to school. Bailey has nothing to do all the way up until next summer. Next Summer Bailey and Ethan and Bailey have to stay homealone and they go for a walk with the farm horse Flare. On their walk in the woods Flare sees a snake and runs away and Bailey and Ethan are lost in the woods. After 4 days a man finally shows up and takes them home. one day a girl named Hanahh comes over one day and meets Bailey and Ethan.
End
Hanahh started going over the farm house a lot and even went to all Ethans high school football games and over his house. One night Todd, Ethan's old friend was jealous of him and set a firecracker of in Ethan's house and the firecracker spread and burned Ethan's whole house down and Ethan jumped out of the window and broke his leg and was never able to play football or walk without cruches again. On the bright side he could still swim and Bailey and Hannah still cheered him up all the time. He moved to his grandparents farm and was near hannah hannah came to his granparants house one day and sat with him on the dock they both jumped into the lake and Ethan leared he could swim.
