This dance is important to the Apache tribe because this dance was taught by the spirits to the tribe as a means of healing. So this dance is important to the tribe because it teaches them how to live in harmony.

For this culural dances there are usually 5 dancers, 1 leader and 4 messengers. During this dance the performers usually dance by jumping and using abrut movements to portray their emotions. In most cases these are movements of joy because this is a dance to prevent sickeness. In most videos I watched you can see the dancers jumping around in circles chanting a song/to the beat of a drum.
