Flora & Ulysses: A Review

What Did I Love:
- Non-Traditional Format - the illustrations included made the story much more enjoyable. It felt like I was interacting with the text rather than just reading.

- This book made me laugh outloud several times.
- THE VOCAB!
- I have several college degrees and had to look up a few words.
- This will boost SAT scores!
- UM A SUPERHERO POETRY-WRITING SQUIRREL. I'm in love.
Be Still My Heart...
There were several times throughout the book that my emotions were all over the place. I feel like my heart is bigger and happier after reading it, though. I related so much with Flora - a character just trying to guard her heart when a little love comes and opens her up.
The Format
The format of the book enhances the story. It makes you feel like you know the characters better. My heart melted everytime little Ulysses' face popped up on the page.
What To Tell Students
This book is AWESOME. It has superheroes, flying animals, poetry, and will make you pee your pants laugh. I would recommend it to kids and adults!
