Isaac Newton was born on january 4th 1643, In Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. He is known for creating his theories on light, calculus, and celestial mechanics. After years of research and study he released a book of "Principia" explaining his theories and establishing his laws of motion. His second Major book "Opticks" explained his experiments determining the properties of light. He then went on to publish a series of other books and the invention of many scientific tools.
An object in motion will stay in motion, an object at rest will stay at rest unless another force acts upon it in order to make the force unbalanced.
A car will stay in position when in parked or on a flat surface but will move if it is not parked, on an unbalanced downhill surface or a force is put against the gas pedal.
The Force of an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration
F=m*a
A Volkswagen Jetta GLI weighs roughlly 2915lbs meaning its roughly 1322.22kg now if that Volkswagen can accell up 155 mphs which is 69.31m/s^2 which is our acceleration, meaning if we multiply our acceleration times our weight we'll get out force which is 91,643.1 nuetons which is our force.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
If force is exerts on an object the force will equally distribute into both of those objects.
If a Volkswagen Audi r8 rams into a Volkswagen Jetta the force exerted on both would be equal (However the Volkswagen Jetta would take more damage since the Volkswagen Audi r8 weighs more then the Jetta) When the two crash into each other the Volkswagen Jetta would move forward however exert force back into the Audi r8 this is because the force of two objects which have collided is equally distributed due to an equal and and opposite reaction.
