She was born on December 9, 1778 in Palace of Versailles.
She was the first child of King Louis and Marie.
She was also known as "Madame Royale"
When the Bastille was stormed she was only 11.
She is the only one that had a full life.

Marie's Life in Prison
She was imprisoned in the Temple with her brother,mother, aunt, and father.
While she was in the Temple she could hear her other brother getting beat.
Her brother died and her parents were taken from her as well as her aunt.
she wrote on the wall in prison,
"Marie-Thérèse is the most unhappy creature in the world. She can obtain no news of her mother; nor be reunited to her, though she has asked it a thousand times."
"Live, my good mother! whom I love well, but of whom I can hear no tidings."
"O my father! watch over me from heaven above."
O my God! forgive those who have made my family die."
She was by herself in the Temple until December 1795 when she was 17, the time she got released.
She spent 3 years 4 months and 5 days in the Temple.
Marie's parents died of the guillotine, both brothers died of illness , and her little sister died very young making Marie an orphan.
Soon after being released she married the Duc d'Angoulême, nephew of the new king, the Louis XVIII, and now the heir to the throne of France. She became Duchess of Angoulême.
the Duc d'Angouêleme was also her cousin.
She had a very unhappy marriage, and never consummated, which everything that led up to now left her bitter and angry and she spent most her life exiled from France.
Marie did have the title "Queen of France" for 20 minutes until her husband signed the abdication papers.

At the age of 72, Marie died on October 19, 1851 of pneumonia.
She forgave those that made her life miserable.

In 1788, his fevers got worse and he progressively became more ill.
In 1789, Louis Joseph died of tuberculosis at the Château de Meudon.
It has been said that with the King and his wife's grieving over their sons death could have been a facor of causing the French Revolution

Louis Charles was born on March 27, 1785.
He gained the title duc de Normandie until he became Dauphin after his brother Louis Joseph death.
On August 10, 1792, Louis Charles was imprisoned with the rest of the royal family in the Temple in Paris.
His father was given the death penalty Louis Charles became the new king of France.
Louis Charles became was very useable in negotiating with revolutionary government and its enemies.
He was imprison in the Temple again in January of 1794.
The harsh conditions of the Temple caused to affect his well-being. Louis Charles died of tuberculosis of the lymph glands on June 8, 1795.

Princess Marie Sophie Hélène Béatrice de France, was born on July 9, 1786.
She was named after her great-aunt, Sophie de France.
She was born premature and died right before her first birthday.
She died June 19, 1787 and was buried at the Royal Basilica of Saint Denis.
