As a little girl, I always knew that nursing was something I wanted to pursue.

In 2021, I graduated with my associates degree in nursing. Due to Covid 19, we had to have a drive-through graduation.

There are endless opportunities in the nursing field!

I had made many friends along the way and I will cherish their support and friendship forever.

My godmother had been a labor and delivery nurse for many years, and I wanted to be just like her. She was always telling me stories and experiences she had working as a registered nurse. All throughout my childhood, I had a feeling nursing was for me.

In July of 2021, I accepted my dream job, working on labor and delivery.

Fast forward

To add to my dream, I get to work with my godmother almost everyday!

After two years, I am now obtaining my BSN. This degree will help aid in my physical and educational skills in my every day care. I hope I can make an immense impact on my patient's lives.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit,

I pursued nursing and received my CNA 1 in 2019.

After graduating with my CNA, I was accepted into the nursing program at Sandhills Community College.

I was so excited to start my journey as a registered nurse!!

In the future, I will

- Obtain my BSN degree

- Feel more confident in my nursing practice

-Eventually, go back to Midwifery school

During the nursing program, I was struggling to find the right unit for me. Luckily, I was able to do my final rotation on labor and delivery at my local hospital, and I LOVED it.

As a registered labor and delivery nurse, I strive to

- Provide safe and compassionate care

- Be a great team-member and leader to my colleagues

- Always be a patient advocate

- Be Proficient with time management

- Make my patients feel heard and supported

- Be the best nurse I can be
