Introduction

Deshidratadora Palenque is a Mexican company dedicated to grow, pack & export dried organic mango.

Through Grupo Palenque, we started this dried mango proyect around 5 years ago, in the state of Nayarit.

Deshidratadora Palenque is evaluated year after year by US & Mexican entities, in order to guarantee the quality and safety of our dried mango.

We have certificates such as the SRRC (Contamination Risk Reduction System) by SENASICA, USDA, USDA Organic, Global GAP, GRASP, SMETA, Kosher, Primus GFS & Fair Trade.

Currently (both in Oaxaca and Nayarit), Deshidratadora Palenque has:

  • 4 industrial ovens
  • Fruit washing machinery
  • Refrigeration rooms
  • Warehouse
  • Washing & sanitizing area for utensils
  • Dinning room
  • Laboratory
  • Restrooms, lockers & other amenities

Creation

Creation

The company was founded in 2017 by Raúl Arcos Lozano, under the name Deshidratadora Palenque.

The following year, a second drying plant was opened in the state of Oaxaca.

Currently we are planning to expand their work capacity.

Markets

Markets

Currently we export all of our product to the United States & Canada.

The US is our largest market, with customers spread across California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Chicago & New York.

Within the Canadian market, we have a presence mainly in Quebec & Montreal.

For the moment we have been selling our product in bulk. However, this next season we plan to launch our 2 additional presentations targeted to supermarkets and self-service stores.

Background

Background

  • 1974 - Don Raul arrived to San Pedro Tapanatepec, Oaxaca.

  • 1975 - As he was being successful with mango trading, Don Raul decided to rent his first orchard.

  • 1985 - Later on, as Don Raúl increased the volume of rented orchards, he decided to buy his first orchard -- El Palenque.

  • 2002 - Don Raúl increased the volume of his own orchards and decided to built his first packing plant.

  • 2017 - Finally, Don Raúl decided to built his first dried mango plant located in Nayarit. One year after, he opened a second dried mango plant in Oaxaca.
