If the buyer offers more money than you are selling the item for it may suggest a scam.
For example you are selling a pair of shoes and you want £50 for them if the buyer offers £100 it is highly likely to be fraud money.

Stick to trusted websites!
If a buyer/seller of a product insists that you come off of a trusted website it is likely fraud.Be sure to check the email which is usually the company name plus the site you are using e.g. google and then .com.Make sure to look at the logo/profile picture of the sender as if it looks dis-coloured or fuzzy it is likely fraud.
