By Carson O'Shea

Cost

A prosthetic leg can price anywhere between $5,000 to $50,000

A prosthetic leg can last a person 3 to 5 years.

Durability

So that means you have too spend at least $5,000 every 3 years

sports

even thought you are missing a leg or two you can still do sports, for example my brother can do skiing with one leg, he can do soccer, basketball and much more. even though he's disabled he can still do every thing that we can do.

legs can range from high tech to just simple. for example if you think you want to move forward the leg will stick out just like us, if you tell your brain move the left leg it will do so. thought the simple leg like my brother has to physically move the half a leg you have to jerk the leg outwards

The leg

In 1858 the first prosthetic limb was invented and patented by Douglas Bly

here is how a prosthetic limbs made

how its made
