JKR Kuari Pusat Bukit Buloh was established in 1945 with total area of 94 acres and is located 30KM from Kota Bharu and 12KM from Machang. Today, JKR Kuari have 97 number of staff.
The products of JKR Kuari Pusat Bukit Buloh are block stone, crusher run and premix (frying stone). These products are to build roads, buildings and other products stone based.

Company Philosophy
The main role of JKR Kuari is to meet requirement in producing quarry and premix stone revenue for the construction of roads, infrastructure and buildings owned by State Government and Federal Government.
Road maintenance plans and data are obtained by the Jurutera Jajahan (JJ). The work processes in the JKR Kuari involve drilling, blasting, processing granite and stretching premix.

- Crushing block stone with size 36” to smaller size (less than 9”)
- The output of primary crusher conveyed onto primary stockpile from which the Secondary Crusher is fed

- Secondary Crusher crushing aggregate to size smaller than 9” conveyed from Surge Pile
- These aggregate will be crush to 4” to dust

4. Compaction - use Vibrating Roller (2 passes without vibrate and 2 passes with vibrate), Rubber Tyred roller Roller (8 passes), Tandem Roller (2 passes)
