New Morality

  • (DO NOT COPY): Many groups feared that traditional values needed to be preserved, fearing the "New Morality" would take over the country. Ideals of the loving family and personal satisfaction. Views that had been popularized in magazines and other media forms. Romance and marriage grew in importance. Friendships grew. Women in the workforce hrld jobs to support families, and for some it was a break away from parental authorites. work also provided wages that allowed for women to participate in consumer culture... Oh yea, and the nation is now in love with the Automobile.
