Natural Look
If you are not a fan of full glam makeup, you might be a fan of the natural makeup look. This type of makeup stays away from any bold or high coverage makeup but instead is very minimal. The no-makeup makeup look enhances natural features and gives a glowy and natural appearance. The most vital step for this look is skin prep as you want to have hydrated and glowy skin to avoid packing on makeup. For this reason, this makeup is best suited for people with a natural youthful glow- however, you can fake glowy skin by using a hydrating face mask before applying makeup. This natural look is achieved by using subtle colors and products that enhance one's natural beauty.

Daytime Look
Similar to the natural look, daytime makeup helps you look more awake and presentable while still keeping a professional look. A daytime look is the total opposite of evening makeup so it does stay more on the natural side, but it depends on your preferences. This makeup is worn daily and should always begin by protecting your skin with SPF before applying any other products. To achieve an everyday look, use bright eyeshadows to give the illusion of bigger, more awake eyes, and stay away from harsh contour and highlight, instead use a subtle bronzer and highlighter. This look is most suitable for people with everyday jobs who want to cover imperfections while still maintaining the natural and professional look.

Evening Look
Evening makeup is the opposite of daytime makeup as dark and vivid colors are used rather than light and subtle shades; this look is all about playing around with different colors. Filled in brows, dark eyes, contour, highlight, and bold lips- are all used to complete an alluring evening look. Evening makeup is a dark smokey eye with a nude or dark lip, using complementary colors to blend the look. Evening makeup takes your typical daytime look and turns it into the perfect smoldering look you need for a night out. Evening makeup takes people out of their comfort zone and uses bold and strong colors to extenuate their facial features.

Bridal Look
Bridal makeup can be done one of two ways, soft makeup that enhances your natural beauty or dramatic and intense makeup. Bridal makeup has to be long-lasting, full coverage, waterproof, and has to look good in photos. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, so you want your makeup to be perfect and flawless; your makeup should complement your dress, not overshadow it. Makeup is an essential part of a wedding, and it is important that you get exactly what you want on your big day. Whether you choose to go subtle or intense, bridal makeup is meant to look elegant and tasteful.

Fantasy Look
Different from the other types of makeup, fantasy makeup is used to transform yourself into anything you want. This type of makeup is fun to do, you get to play around with various types of colors and ideas; it tests your creativity. These looks are not about enhancing your natural beauty but are about pretending to be anything-from vampires to fairies. These looks can go from simple to complex and can be time-consuming, but the beautiful and artistic results are worth it. If you want to add more to your look, you can add accessories such as rhinestones. Fantasy makeup takes patience, therefore it is not recommended for people who do not want to wait for a long duration. Your face is a blank canvas and you can paint anything you want on it.

Special Effects Look
A step up form fantasy makeup, special effects makeup uses both makeup and prosthetics (latex, silicone, or rubber). This type of makeup is most used for movies or shows to create real looking injuries, mythical creatures, mutations, and more; it is also used during Halloween. This type of makeup is the most difficult but the outcome is worth the hassle. The only negative thing about these looks is that they tend to be uncomfortable while wearing them. Special effects makeup is not suitable for those with sensitive skin as there is a lot of different products pilled onto the skin and could irritate the skin.
