The Railways

1836-1867

Almost every colony in Canada has its own railway, but none of these railways join together. These railways can play a key role in the country's history and development by connecting people and resources across vast distances, and transporting troops and supplies in case of times of war. What if this is possible if we colonize Canada and build a railway that connects this country from coast to coast. The cost of building this railway can be split up among the colonies. This railway can change so much and benefit this country greatly.

Cancellation of reciprocity treaty

Canada signed the reciprocity treaty for a good reason and that was to help Canada grow and trade with other countries.the cancellation of reciprocity treaty is a huge set down for Canada that can lead to multiple issues including an american invasion.

Threat of American invasion

How is Canada going to untie if we cant even agree on anything? Upper and lower Canada are struggling to break the tension. The issue is complex and multifaceted, and has involved many different political parties, interest groups, and individuals over the years.

How long has it been since Canada hasn't thought of the possibility of an American invasion? The threat of them invading us was a possibility ever since they accused us of helping southerners escape their troops. The American army is stronger than the Canadian army and more powerful. What we need is a untied country so that we can be sure that even if they did try to invade Canada we will be ready and protect this land.
