I will be arguing about dress code/School Uniforms and why schools shouldn't have certain dress codes and uniforms.
I believe fully that dress code/school uniforms restricts students to show their fashion sense fully and could make them less confident in work etc.
Dress code limits the fashion for most students and sometimes has unreasonable reasons for restricting certain clothes.
Some dress codes are reasonable for most things, but many types of dress code have no meaningful reasonings for making such dress code.
Dress Codes could be better by having a vote among the teachers, admins, and parents of the students because it would be much more reasonable because not just the principle chooses because then you have an idea if this would be a good dress code to set or a bad sense, you'll have a percentage of agree or disagree of making such dress code.

If you think all dress codes are important to the safety to the students. Yes, some are but not all of them. Sometimes certain dress codes are very unreasonable to the point of kids do at points to protest their rights of wearing whatever they want to wear. Students can get emotional over the clothes they wear because it can be the only way they can express themselves to others. So, when they are giving that person dressing style a dress code it saddens them angers them and confuses them and de-motivates them to do their work they get distracted easily and their confidences worsens over time.
Students are restricted from their own clothes and are forced to wear either a school uniform or clothes that are healthy for the school's image but cannot tell due to the school if they are mentally healthy. "Opponents contend, however, that uniforms also make it more difficult to identify distressed students, who may reveal symptoms of psychological disorders by wearing unusual clothing."
Some school districts sometimes forget that minors still have rights and still have their 1st amendment to wear or say anything they want. "Districts that have imposed incentives to increase participation in voluntary uniform and uniform-like dress codes, threats of or actual lawsuits have quickly emerged to halt this allegedly coercive practice."
Students can get worse with getting in trouble because they are constantly getting disciplined at school because of the uniforms and dress code they are getting disciplined by. In addition, friction and discipline problems may worsen as rule breakers crowd the principal’s office.

"If they're learning, I don't care what they're wearing."

I completely understand why people still say that having a dress code is very important for a safe learning environment. Having a dress code can be extremely important for a school emergency for example: A school shooter can be easily seen in a school that uses school uniforms because they are wearing completely different clothes than the students and can be seized with no confusion among the authority. It's been proven to wear simple clothes has been proved effective with concentration of work. I still believe that having no unreasonable dress codes are still better to agree with because of the benefits for mental health during school with no bad dress codes.
