-He always smokes

-He has a crush on his neighbor and he thinks they are dating but actually it is just his imagination

-He scares to lose his job and can not take care of his mom

He regularly visits a social worker assigned to him after a stay in a hospital for mental illness. In the movie, we learned that he has a mental illness which is caused sudden, uncontrollable laughter that does not match how he actually feels.

-His real name is Arthur Fleck.

-He lives with her mother Penny Fleck in Gotham City

-He works in a clown company

-He does not have wife or any children

As it can be seen, his motivation is selfish and the outcome of his actions is not totally positive.
