PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND VEHICLES

CARRIAGE: the transporting of items or merchandise from one place to another.

COACH: a long motor vehicle with comfortable seats, used to take groups of people on journeys

LORRY: a large, heavy motor vehicle for transporting goods or troops; a truck.

PLATFORM: a raised level surface on which people or things can stand.

TRAM: a cable car.

PHRASAL VERBS

Set off: begin a journey.

E.g: We set off at 6 am to avoid the traffic

End up: to be in a particular place or situation that you didn't expect

E.g: I got off the wrong bus and I ended up in another place

Run out of : to suddenly lose the energy or interest to continue doing what you are doing

E.g: We're running out of petrol

Watch out/ look out: the activity of watching carefully and looking for someone or something
