The Cytoplasm is like the Grandma in the family. The cytoplasm holds everything in place, the grandma in the family holds the family together, keeps everyone connected.

The golgi apparatus processes, sorts, and ships proteins. The second uncle of the family is always biking, so he knows what he needs to eat; what has the best source of proteins, so he packs them for his long bike rides.

The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. The favorite cousin (Grandma's favorite grandchild) is the powerhouse- they do everything and do it all perfectly.
