The American Landrace is a medium to large breed of domestic pigs. The pig is white with a long bodies and fine hair. They also have long snouts and heavy droopy ears. These pigs originated in Denmark, Denmark is a Scandinavian country.

American Landrace pigs are a long, lean, white pig. They have long snouts and heavy droopy ears. They have a fine hair coat. Their back is only slightly arched or is nearly flat. A mature male weighs about 310-400 kg and a female weighs about 250-330 kg. They are a bred for pork production. Their side is even and well-fleshed and the ham is plump but not over fat. The sows produce plenty of milk.
