All about rainforests!
All about rainforest animals!
Rainforests are populated with insects (like butterflies and beetles), arachnids (like spiders and ticks), worms, reptiles (like snakes and lizards), amphibians (like frogs and toads), birds (like parrots and toucans) and mammals (like sloths and jaguars). Different animals live in different strata of the rainforest.
What are the non-living things in the rainforest?
The non-living things in a rainforest include rocks, water, rain, and sunlight even the non living things in the rainforest take a big part in the rainforest for the animals the plants even for the decomposers.
How do animals of the rainforest gather food?/What do they eat?/How do they survive?
The animals use the tall trees and understory for shelter and hiding places from their predators and for a source of food. Since there are so many animals competing for food a lot of animals have adapted by learning to eat a particular food eaten by no other animal. The tropical rain forest is filled with all kinds of animals and plants and most animals eat some of both varieties to survive. The typical diet of the tropical forest omnivore includes plants, fruits, nuts, pollen, a variety of insects and sometimes even honey. Many animals have adapted to the unique conditions of the tropical rainforests. Here are some examples the sloth uses camouflage and moves very slowly to make it difficult for predators to spot. The spider monkey has long, strong limbs to help it to climb through the rainforest trees.
A rainforest is an area of tall, mostly evergreen trees and a high amount of rainfall. Rainforests are Earth's oldest living ecosystems, with some surviving in their present form for at least 70 million years.Without Rainforest we would not be alive not just us humans but even animal, or we would be so sick. Rainforest help us make medicine with the all of the plant and in a rainforest since there are a bunch of plants, animals can find shelter As well as the vivid beauty that comes with great diversity in plants and animals, rainforests also play a practical role in keeping our planet healthy. By absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing the oxygen that we depend on for our survival. The absorption of this CO2 also helps to stabilize the Earth's climate.
The changes the rainforest goes through is deforestation and climate change and the main source of all the changes in the rainforest is humans. If this continues around the world and not just the rainforest this might lead to human extinction.
