Mockingjay
- it's a bird (Spotttölpel) which repeats sounds
- are breeded by the Capitol
- monitor the residents of the Districts, listen to their conservations and give the information to the Capitol
- it's a communication help between Katniss and Rue
- when you whistle, the birds whistle the same melody trough the forest
- Katniss makes a gift to her sister Prim which is a brooch of a mockingjay (film)
- it has to protect Prim but Katniss got it back when she goes in the arena

- it means ,,bread". Katniss got bread from Peeta because she is almost dead (survival and hope)
- is a land which arose the debits of Northamerica
- the capital city is Capitol
- it consist of 12 Districts
- "Panem et circenses" (lat.) which means "Brot und Spiele"
- it's an expression of the poet "Juvenal", who critisized the Roman people, which were completely satisfied by food and entertainment

- Katniss associates her with Prim and has a deep connection with her
- it's a verx emotional part when Rue dies; Katniss suffers a lot
