Met het werkwoord have got kan je op twee manieren vraagzinnen maken:
Have/has - ond - got - meew/lijd - waar - wanneer
Have you got a game at FC Utrecht on Sunday? Have -> I, you, we, they, mv
Has she got a cat at home? Has -> he, she, it, ev
Do/ does - ond - have - meew/lijd - waar - wanneer
Do you have a game at FC Utrecht on Sunday?
Does she have a cat at home?
Als je een vraag maakt met het werkwoord to be (dus am, is of are) dan gebruik je geen do of does. Dit geldt ook voor het werkwoord can.
Je zet dan het werkwoord aan het begin van de zin.

Met het werkwoord have got kun je op twee manieren een negatieve zin maken.
Ond - haven't / hasn't - got - meew/lijd - plaats - tijd.
We haven't got any plans this weekend. haven't = I, you, we, they, mv
My mum hasn't got a sister. hasn't = he, she, it, ev
Ond - don't/doesn't - have - meew/lijd - plaats - tijd.
We don't have any plans this weekend.
My mum doesn't have a sister.
Bij de werkwoorden to be (am/is/are) en can gebruik je geen don't of doesn't, maar je plakt not achter het werkwoord.
am -> am not
is -> isn't
are -> aren't
can -> can't
I am not happy with you behaviour.
She isn't going to the party.
We aren't talking to him right now.
He can't sing.
You can't go home yet.
+ normale zin: She is sad.
- negatieve zin: She isn't sad.
? vraag zin: Is she sad?
