Background Information

Susanoo no Mikoto is an japanese god, his family is built of some the most powerful beings of japanese gods, For example his sister is Amaterasu which is the goddess of the moon and his brother, Tsukuyomi, is the god of the sun. Susanoo also had a loving wife named Kushinadahime.

Famous myth

Susanoo no Mikoto was kicked out of heaven and found a elderly couple about to sacrifice their eighth child to the serpent Yamata no Orochi so he defeats the beast, and finds a sword in one of the tails. That sword was called Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi- which translates Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven.

Susanoo-no-Mikoto is portrayed as the great god of the sea and storms, so his domain would obviously be the sea, but he doesn't live in the ocean. He lives in the land of Izumo in western Japan.

Susanoo-no-Mikoto having vast unlimited powers. As such, he has unlimited strength and superhuman speed. Also he is able to control the elements of the storm, generating cyclonic winds, lightning, storm and frost. He uses powerful weapons, such as the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi sword. Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi sword is a legendary Japanese sword and one of three Imperial Regalia of Japan.
