A Lion is a Cornivore which means its a meat eater. Lions consume a variety of things such as Wild beest,Zebra,Giraffe,Buffalo, and sometimes Lions even eat rhinos and hippos. Lions also eat smaller animals such as hares, birds and reptiles.
Lions are one of the strongest animals in the world. There teeth and jaws help them for pulling down and killing animals. Their coats are yellow-gold and the adult males have shaggy manes that are blond to reddish-brown to black.
A lions roar is used to communicate with there group members or family to warn them if a intruder of territorial boundries is around. The lions long claws help them to grab on to the other animals and finish them. The lions tounge is rough but yet it helps it to peel the skin of other animals. Lions often like to relax and mostly sleep. The male lion protects there home from a predator or animals. The female lions mostly hunt for food. A lions tan color allows them to blend in with the savannas. The loose skin on the lions bellies protect them from other animals kicking them.
