Summary Paragraph

Biological evolution is supported by the fossil records because they can show how natural selection takes place and in turn, how those organisms evolve to change and survive. Natural selection is a mechanism for biological change because it basically shows the organisms what they need to do to survive and what to change. Chemical evolution explains the origin of life on Earth because it shows how the chemicals slowly changed to form life on Earth. Biological and chemical evolution represent the strongest explanation of the changes observed in the fossil record because the fossils are the physical representations of those theories, and the slight changes in the organisms throughout time prove them. Scientific theories on evolution and the fossil record can change over time because like all other theories, new evidence gets found, proves other facts, and therefore changes the theories.
