IUCN uses a scale to measure the level of extinction of a species.
That goes from the level of least concern, which is the most favorable level, to the extinct, which is the most extreme level on the scale because that species no longer exists.

What are the causes for the extinction of these animals?
CAUSES
There are countless causes, whether they are natural causes or which have the intervention of man, so that thousands of species are extinguished.
Deforestation
Deforestation is the destruction of trees to sell or to build something.
In other words, if the trees are cut, this means that thousands of habitats are being destroyed, which causes some species to become extinct or to run that risk.

There are fires that are caused by natural phenomena and fires where human intervention exists.

The thawing of the glaciers is due to global warming, as this causes the temperature of the planet to rise which causes the ice to start to melt.
So if the ice starts to thaw it means that the species of animals that live see their habitats being destroyed.

SOLUTIONS
Publish laws that prohibit hunting of rare species
Prevent the use of wild animals for research purposes
Raising endangered animals in zoological gardens, wildlife parks, captivity
Prevent some animals from being removed from their habitats in order to be marketed
