  • Andrew often took in Rachel's family members in and made them his own.
  • Killed a man in her honor (was first man Andrew ever killed in a duel)
  • Was a scapegoat for Andrew's enemies during his election.
  • He even loved her throughout her divorce scandal.

There are many characterisitics to this seventh president he's a loyal man, has integrity, and was a very resiliant man. He was seen as a very loyal person giving time and effort to the people he cares most about, like his wife and the people. Andrew Jackson is one of the most controversial presidents we've had, there is a good and bad side to who he is but it's mostly up to the person viewing.
