Biography

Daniel Hess was born in 1831. He was form West Union, Iowa. He did create the first form a vacuum cleaner. This was called the carpet sweeper.

Daniel Hess a person who helped invent the vacuum cleaner. Daniel Hess was like the first person to come across anything in the vacuum field. He did create a machine that had roller brushes and bellows on it. When the bellows expanded, the machine took the dust and air inside of the machine. He never got to market his invention. The invention was not called a vacuum cleaner, but a carpet sweeper.
