Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

- Matthew 11:28

Our God Is Holy

Blessed

Psalm 128:1-6

1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

247 Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken

1 Glorious things of thee are spoken, Zion, city of our God;

He, whose word cannot be broken, Formed thee for his own abode;

On the Rock of Ages founded, What can shake thy sure repose?

With salvation's walls surrounded, thou may'st smile at all thy foes.

2 See, the streams of living waters, springing from eternal love,

Well supply thy sons and daughters, and all fear of want remove.

Who can faint while such a river ever flows their thirst t'assuage?

Grace, which like the Lord, the Giver, never fails from age to age.

3 Round each habitation hov'ring, see the cloud and fire appear

For a glory and a cov'ring, showing that the Lord is near.

He Who gives us daily manna, He Who listens to our cry,

To Him raise the glad hosanna, rising to His throne on high. Amen.

607 Near to the Heart of God

2 There is a place of comfort sweet,

Near to the heart of God,

A place where we our Savior meet,

Near to the heart of God. [Refrain]

3 There is a place of full release,

Near to the heart of God,

A place where all is joy and peace,

Near to the heart of God. [Refrain]

1 There is a place of quiet rest,

Near to the heart of God,

A place where sin cannot molest,

Near to the heart of God.

Refrain:

O Jesus, blest Redeemer,

Sent from the heart of God,

Hold us, who wait before thee,

Near to the heart of God.

281 God, the Father of Your People

1 God, the Father of Your people, You have called us to be one;

Grant us grace to walk together In the joy of Christ, Your Son.

Challenged by Your Word and Spirit, Blest with gifts from heav'n above;

As one body we will serve You, And bear witness to Your love.

2 In the garden hear Christ praying, "Father, make my foll'wers one."

Yet, His prayer we are betraying With each person that we shun.

Let our pride an selfish motives Bow to pray "Your will be done"

Till the world shall shout together, "Amen, Amen, Love has won!"

3 May the grace of Christ, our Savior, And the Father's boundless love,

With the Holy Spirit's favor, Rest upon us from above.

May we now remain in union With each other and the Lord,

And possess, in sweet communion, Joys that earth cannot afford.

A New Husband

1 Samuel 25:39-44

39 And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the Lord, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the Lord hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.

40 And when the servants of David were come to Abigail to Carmel, they spake unto her, saying, David sent us unto thee, to take thee to him to wife.

A New Husband

1 Samuel 25:39-44

41 And she arose, and bowed herself on her face to the earth, and said, Behold, let thine handmaid be a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.

42 And Abigail hasted, and arose, and rode upon an ass, with five damsels of hers that went after her; and she went after the messengers of David, and became his wife.

43 David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they were also both of them his wives.

44 But Saul had given Michal his daughter, David's wife, to Phalti the son of Laish, which was of Gallim.

A Bride Adorned For Her Husband

Revelation 21:1-4

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The Spirit And The Bride Say, Come.

Revelation 22:14-17

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Matthew 11:28

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

576 Faith Is the Victory

Refrain:

Faith is the victory!

Faith is the victory!

Oh, glorious victory

That overcomes the world.

1 Encamped along the hills of light, Ye Christian soldiers, rise

And press the battle ere the night Shall veil the glowing skies.

Against the foe in vales below Let all our strength be hurled;

Faith is the victory, we know, That overcomes the world.

[Refrain]

2 His banner over us is love, Our sword the Word of God;

We tread the road the saints above With shouts of triumph trod.

By faith they, like a whirlwind's breath, Swept on o'er ev'ry field;

The faith by which they conquered death Is still our shining shield.

[Refrain]

3 On every hand the foe we find Drawn up in dread array

Let tents of ease be left behind, And onward to the fray;

Salvation's helmet on each head, With truth all girt about,

The earth shall tremble 'neath our tread, And echo with our shout.

[Refrain]
