Jaguars life span

A Jaguar lives 12 to 15 years in the wild and in good captivity it is 23 years.

This is a baby jaguar being handled.

Jaguars only see each other to mate. The female will give birth to 4-5 cubs and they stay together until they are two. When a jaguar cub is born it can not see until 2 weeks after birth.

Food

The jaguar is a carnivore and its sharp teeth and claws help it eat wild pigs, deer, crocodiles and monkeys are the big ones. It will eat mostly anything that it can find and catch.

Predator of everything

NO animal is a predator to the jaguar. It might get in to a fight but it has nothing to worry about. It is a top predator. It is at the top of the food chain.
