Tinang found a Kamansi tree where she could stay for a while to read the letter. She placed her baby in a heap of the cornhusks. At first, she thought that the letter was from her sister, but she was surprised when she found out that the letter was from Amado. Amado told Tinang about his reason to leave in Señor's house and his love to her.

Tinang suddenly remembered her past before marrying Inggo. Then, she saw snake approaching her baby, so she immediately rush to get her baby and check if there's bite marks.

Señora informed her about the letter that was sent for her in the Pharmacy (it is also a Post Office). She immediately rush to the Pharmacy before he went home.

Tinang visited her former Señora together with her baby. They talked about marriage, how Amado left, and the baptismal of her baby.

Tinang went home together with her baby and she didn't notice that the letter fell in the cornhusks. Tinang chose his family with Inggo rather than Amado. She forget Amado just like what she did in the letter
