SUMMARY

The setting is in the 1900s. It is at California and Dawson. It's in Dawson to deliver things in the very cold winter. It's in California during the gold rush time.

I think that you should read Call of the Wild because it is an action packed and adventurous book. I think readers that love old classic books, dogs, and the wild should read this book. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars rating.

I think the theme is always listen, learn, and have faith in others. I think this is the theme because throughout the story Buck learns to listen to people and be obedient. Buck also learns many lessons and he gets smarter. He also became friends with John and all the other owners were rough and mean to him. John was good to him and Buck actually liked John.
