The whole story of Antigone started because of her loyalty. She was loyal to her family, and loyal to the Gods. Even though her brother didn’t die an honorable death, she wanted him to have a proper burial. This was against the law, made by King Creon.

Antigone knew that what she was doing was against the law. She knew that by breaking the law, the punishment was death. But she didn’t care. She was stubborn and wanted to do what she pleased so bad, she didn’t care of the outcome

. Even when she knew she was breaking a law, she still had a strong opinionated tone. She wasn’t scared at all for what was coming. When Creon had found out Antigone was the one burying her brother, she was brought into the palace. Creon was stating that she was going to be taken away for death. She knew this, and said “I’ll come to recognize that I’ve done wrong. But if these people here are being unjust may they endure no greater punishment than the injustices they’re doing to me.”
