At 8 am on December 7, 1941, the Japanese made a suprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Oahu, Hawaii. The Japanese attacked the U.S. in two different waves right after each other. They sent 350 Japanese aircraft to take out American vessels. Over 2,400 American people died this day and about 1,000 wounded. Many american ships and aircraft were destroyed. Only 129 Japanese soliders died compared to the 2,000 americans.
