Exposition
The prince, as a kid, gets lost and meets young Maleficent. After they meet up, they meet up a lot after.
Rising Action
One day the King falls ill, and rewards his position as King to whoever kills Maleficent, the "Beast". The prince had been secretly meeting up with Maleficent and decided to cut off her wings. After meeting up, the prince gives her a sleeping potion and cuts off her wings. After the Prince becomes King, he has a baby, Princess Aurora. On her first birthday, Maleficent curses Aurora to poke herself with a spindle wheel on her 16th birthday. The King sends Aurora away, and she meets Maleficent. She believes Maleficent is her Fairy God Mother. Maleficent grows closer to her as she spends more time with her.
Climax
On Aurora's 16th birthday she finds a spindle wheel and pokes herself, falling into a long nap that can only be woken up with true love's kiss, which Maleficent considers not real.
The Falling Action
Falling Action
Since Maleficent believes that true love's kiss is not real, she feels really sad. As she leaves Maleficent kisses Aurora's forehead and leaves. With a gasp Aurora is awake since she had true love's kiss, Maleficent's kiss.
Resolution
After Aurora is awake, she is really happy Maleficent understood that true love is real. Both of them live
happily ever after.
